• Additional 51 MB free disk space on the drive where the F1C'99-'02 game is installed.
• Download the archive from FilePlanet
  
• Unzip the downloaded file.

• In contrast to our previous F1-200X installations - this Season 2003 addon can be installed in a single step. Start the Installation by double click on '2003RH_4_F1C99-02.exe'. After you have read the license agreement you have to select the destination directory. Please choose your 'F1 Challenge 99-02' directory. After all files have been copied to your harddrive (no orginal files will be overwritten) a batch file will be automatically executed. This batch will copy some original season 2002 track files to the new Season 2003 directories. Please wait until this copy procedure is completed.

• After all files have been copied by the Installer you simply can start your F1 Challenge '99-'02 game. When going to the season & car selection a new Season 2003 Icon will be available. By selecting this icon you can choose any Season 2003 car.
• VERY IMPORTANT: DO not forget to decrease your number of AI-Players to 19 in order to simulate the Season 2003 correctly !!!
• Please note, that the NT, NA and other special edition cars are not visible in the car selection spinner - these liveries will be automatically loaded when you drive on the specific tracks [MON, CAN, FRA, GB, USA].

• You need to have Season 2003 by Ralph Hummerich & Ivo Franic installed [either v1.2 or v1.3].
• Additional 410 MB free disk space on the drive where the F1C'99-'02 game is installed.

• Start the Installation by double click on '2003RH_4_F1C99-02_expansion.exe'. After you have read the license agreement you have to select the destination directory. Please choose your 'F1 Challenge 99-02' directory. After all files have been copied to your harddrive (no orginal files will be overwritten) a batch file will be automatically executed. This batch will copy the expansion car files to the different Season 2003 track directories. Please wait until this copy procedure is completed.

• Just select your 2003 Team and select the a track. All track dependant shapes & textures will be loaded automatically.

• You need to have Season 2003 by Ralph Hummerich & Ivo Franic installed.
• If you have already installed PROZAC's Tyre update V3.0 (that comes with modified cdb.mas & cmaps.mas files) then you have to get back the original files from your original F1C99-02 game CD - alternative you could download the two files from fileplanet [3.7 MB].

You can choose between 'DEFAULT', 'GROOVES', 'SHINE_WALLS' and the 'SHINE_EVERYWHERE' version - each of them come with a different shine style. Where the DEFAULT Version have almost no shine (tires look like used ones) up to the 'SHINE_EVERYWHERE' Version where the tires will look like you see them on car presentations.

After yo have choosen the tire shine style you have to decide which of the two installers you have to execute. One is for users who are will use High/Full pitcrew Details [and does not watch replays] -> these users should install the *_HIGH+FULL.EXE version. The users who will load & watch freqent replays or have set the (cause of performance) pit crew details to Low or Medium should install the *_LOW+MED.EXE Version.

Choice A:
Use High/Full pitcrew Details in the game - but get CTD's when want to watch a Replay (cause in replay always Low/Med pitcrew details are used and in this Version the use of Low/Med pitcrew Details will cause CTD's). So when you want to use High/Full pitcrew details, then you can not watch replays anymore as long as the tire pack is installed.
-> Install the file that end with '_HIGH+FULL.EXE'

Choice B:
Use Low/Med pitcrew Details in the game - No Problems everywhere - except when you will set your pitcrew Details to High or Full then the Bridgestone Teams will not have the updated tire wall texture (the original F1C texture will be used instead).
-> Install the file that end with '_LOW+MED.EXE'

Summarize:
So A) is for users that does not watch replays and like to use high/full pit crew details in the game and B) is for users that want to watch replays. But please note, that when your choice is B), then you HAVE TO set your pitcrew details to Low or Medium in order that all the tires will work correctly.

After you made your choice:

• Start the Installation by double click on '2003RH_TYRES_4_F1C9902_[VERSION]_[CHOICE A/B].exe'.
• After you have read the license agreement you have to select the destination directory. Please choose your 'F1 Challenge 99-02' directory.
• After all files have been copied to your hard drive (no original F1 Challenge 99-02 files will be overwritten) a batch will start that take care of the correct installation of the tire files in your F1Challenge installation.

• When using High/Full pitcrew details the "original" Bridgestone texture will be loaded [only happens when you have the HIGH+FULL Version installed] This can be fixed by setting your pitcrew details back to Low or Medium or simply install the 'High/Full pitcrew detail' version of this tire pack.
• When you are using Low or Medium pitcrew details the game will 'Crash back to desktop' (CTD) after the track have loaded. This happen in Testmode for Bridgestone Teams only (except Sauber). And it will always occour when you want to watch a replay independant from your PitCrew detail settings.
  This can be fixed by setting your pitcrew details to High or Full [except for the replay CTD] or simply install the 'Low/Med pitcrew detail' version of this tire pack [fix both of the problems].

1. Start windows explorer
2. Go to your F1C'99-02 installation directory
3. Open the SeasonData folder - then open the Vehicles folder
4. Rename the file 'Generic_F1_2003RH.gen' to 'Generic_F1_2003RH_tire.gen' (you simple can rename a file by selecting the file and press the F2-Key)
5. Rename the file 'Generic_F1_2003RH_org.gen' to 'Generic_F1_2003RH.gen'
